DO YOU WANT TO BE IN CONTROL OF YOUR EMPLOYEES?

Our customer is a construction company that carries out construction work in various locations in the Slovak Republic. The company has seven separate teams led by a foreman. Each foreman is assigned a vehicle, which he uses to transport three other workers of his team to the objects under construction in Bratislava. The owner of the construction company had an unpleasant experience when they were carrying out a contract in Bratislava, he arrived at the construction site after 9.00 a.m. and there was not a single foot of his company there, even though the workers were supposed to work there from 7.00 a.m. in the morning. When this happened to him several times, he calculated how much people cost per hour and how much the employees cost him in total for the time they were not working there. He still couldn’t control them this way, so he introduced TSS Monitoring.

AND HOW HE SEES THE SITUATION
NOW?
„Employee attendance at work has improved significantly, with each work team now arriving on site at the appointed time. Employees know they are being checked. Through TSS Monitoring, I can look up where they are at any time, even go back in history when I need to verify their locations. In addition, the system generates a logbook for me, which is then used by our accountant to process documents for the tax office “.

For the customer, the TSS monitoring system delivered a quick return on investment. By adhering to work schedules, site work was sped up and the time saved could be used for other construction work. Communication with the work teams was also simplified with measurable indicators of arrivals.

HOW DOES A COMPANY SAVE MONEY BY USING GPS MONITORING?

Our client is a major company operating in the field of distribution of goods in Slovakia. The owner of the company has long felt the need to improve control over the use of its fleet. It was never possible to know where the deliveries were located, what their exact routes were and how efficiently the routes were created. The drivers of the vehicles delivering the goods were routinely returning to the company two hours after working hours, for which the company had to pay them overtime. The vehicle drivers complained to the owner of the company that they could not keep up with the work and had to work long hours.

WHAT THE BUSINESS OWNER SAYS NOW
AFTER THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TSS MONITORING SYSTEM?

„After the introduction of TSS monitoring, vehicle drivers return to the company as early as one hour before the end of working hours. Compared to the previous situation, this is a huge change. Now I know where the deliveries are at any given moment and we have set up optimal routes for deliveries. Not only has this brought savings in the form of reduced diesel consumption on deliveries by fewer vehicle miles driven. But we have also been able to reduce overtime costs, which were a significant component of our corporate costs“. With the introduction of TSS monitoring, the customer has gained control over the company’s fleet, has the opportunity to better evaluate, optimize and plan delivery routes. This forms a significant component in the cost savings. Better designed routes reduce the time needed to do the same amount of work. For employees, the introduction of TSS monitoring has meant better use of working time and a reduction in the amount of overtime they have had to complete due to the amount of work involved.
